We are lucky at the Oasis to live in a woodland where we have a great variety of trees. With the ownership of so many lovely trees comes responsibility for their well being. Unfortunately, some of them like us become unwell and others reach the end of their lives.
Most of our trees have Tree Preservation Orders (TPO’s) which means we can’t just chop them about when we feel like it. But when a tree is dead, we are obliged to remove it, and if it’s deceased and can’t be cured, it has to be felled too. The Directors asked Emma Barton, our Property Manager, to think about the best way forward. Emma suggested an appropriately qualified Tree Consultancy called Tree Call to conduct an independent survey of all the trees on the Oasis estate and then go out for quotes for the work.
You will see that we are obliged to fell four trees as well as general tree management.
